Healthy & Quick Smoothies for Mommy:

:::Chocolate Green Monkey:::
  • 1 scoop chocolate Simply B Natural Whey (or other all-natural whey isolate free of dyes, fillers and artificial flavors/colors and sweeteners.)
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or organic cow's milk if you have that craving)
  • 1 handful raw organic spinach, washed thoroughly
  • 1/4 frozen banana (I like to dice a banana into 4-6 pieces and freeze in a baggie for smoothies)
  • 3 ice cubes
  • Blend thoroughly - you WONT taste the spinach!

:::Lean Green Machine:::

  • 1 cup frozen or fresh mixed berries
  • ½ cup chopped frozen spinach (or handful fresh)
  • 1 fresh lemon squeezed
  • 1 scoop Simply B Whey vanilla protein powder (if you are having this with a protein mela - leavce protein scoop out)
  • Splash oj
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 serving Amazing Green SuperFood powder (health food store – typically combines greens, probiotics & digestive enzymes)
  • 1 tsp. Chia Seeds or flax seeds (optional)
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Dash of cayenne pepper
  • Drizzle of agave nectar or Stevia for sweetness (optional)



Sneak in the Veggies

:::Blueberry Broccoli:::
  • 1 cup of frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup of steamed broccoli
  • 3/4 cup of 100 percent cranberry juice (no sugar added)
  • 1/2 cup of low-fat Greek yogurt

Blend and combine to make 1 smoothie. Add strawberries or blackberries for an additional burst of nutrition.

:::Spiced Carrot Smoothie:::

  • 1/3 cup apple juice (100% juice no sugar added)
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 cup cooked, chopped carrots
  • 1/4 cup applesauce (natural – no sugar added) or ½ whole apple
  • 1/4 inch piece of gingerroot, peeled
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt, or to taste
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper, or to taste

:::Spirulina Smoothie:::
    ·         1/2 cup mixed berries (frozen)
·         1 handful spinach
·         1 stalk celery
     ·         1/4 cup orange juice
·         ¼ cup water
     ·         1 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
·         1 tbsp Spirulina powder
     ·         1 stevia packet

:::Tropical Vanilla Greens:::

  • 1/2 banana, frozen
  • 2 HUGE handfuls spinach (you won’t even taste it)
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

:::Kale-Licious:::

  • 2 cups firmly-packed fresh kale
  • 1 cup frozen unsweetened pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt


:::Caramel Cinnabun Frapp:::
  • 1 scoop Simply B Cinnabun protein
  • 3 Tbsp. Light caramel macchiato coffee creamer
  • 1/2 cup almond milk, unsweet
  • Ice
:::Chocolate Almond Delight:::
  • 1 tbsp Whey Crisps natural or chocolate
  • 1 scoop Simply B chocolate protein
  • 1 tbsp Walden Farms Calorie-Free Chocolate syrup
  • 15 raw almonds
  • ½ tsp coconut extract
  • 10-12 oz water
  • 3-5 ice cubes
  • Stevia to taste (optional)
Blend the almonds and half the water until creamy smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend

:::Berry Banana Shake:::
  • 1/2 cup 1% Lowfat Cottage Cheese
  • 1 cup crushed ice (use more or less to change consistency)
  • 1/2 cup Low-fat Vanilla Yogurt (or Greek)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 scoop Banana Simply B Whey
  • 1 ½ cups of blueberries or strawberries
  • 3 Tbsp honey

::: POST PreNatal Exercise:::
  • 1 banana
  • 1 scoop of Simply B Whey protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
:::CHAI-RITY:::
  • 1/2 cup chai tea
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop Simply B Whey natural vanilla protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 8 - 10 ice cubes
(*optional - dash of All-Spice)

::: Peachy Green smoothie:::
  • 1 cup frozen peaches
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein
  • 2 leaves kale
  • ½ avocado
  • ½ cup baby carrots or 1 large carrot
  • 1/2  apple
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 cup plain (unsweetened) almond milk
